Blessed

Today is the day before Thanksgiving and as I bake my pumpkin and blueberry pies with the little turkey that I cooked for the purpose of left overs sits on the stove making the house smell wonderful, I realize I am blessed. I have a nice warm house, 2 wonderful kitties, a good paying job, a man that has been in my life for the past twenty years and a very big, noisy and semi crazy family.

I've had this layout floating around in my head since I saw the picture of my BFF's nephew - he usually hams it up for the camera so I was really pleased with this picture with NO mugging for the camera.

I really love doing these - I get such a feeling of accomplishment and of doing something that matters and from the letters we get back from the soldiers they really appreciate our efforts.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!

My very good friend from the Cricut messageboard, b&wsmommy turns 26 today !! I made her a really cool book using photos of her family from her latest professional photo shoot and I used my Bind It All.

I got an email from her yesterday afternoon that she got her Birthday package in time for her big day - HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!

Voter's remorse??

I know that you can get buyer's remorse - I have it almost every time I am enabled to buy something by my fellow cricut MB sisters (and I tend to do that ALOT!!) but Ive never heard of Voter's remorse... still I think I have it.
I was so torn over whom to cast my vote for in the Presidential election. I was an Obama girl until Sarah was selected. I admire her so much, in fact I even knew about her BEFORE she was selected for the VP slot - I was really impressed with her having a baby while in office and her stance on using the natural gas resources that our country has not tapped into. But some of the things she said during interviews, well, let's say I was less than impressed. I mean she did not know the job of the VP!! We learn that in 3 rd grade or something!!
I really liked Obama and his promise of change, his youth and his charisma.
I'm not saying for whom I voted, but I am having second thoughts.
